DisCos Remit 94% To Market, Collect N603BN In Revenue Boom
ENERGY GENERATION:
“Energy Generation: Grid-connected power plants achieved a 90% plant load factor, generating an average hourly output of 4,022.40 MWh/h.”
BILLING & COLLECTION:
“Billing & Collection: Total energy billed reached ₦744.67bn (79% billing efficiency), while total revenue collected stood at ₦603.64bn (81% collection efficiency).”
MARKET REMITTANCE:
“Market Remittance: DisCos achieved an overall market remittance rate of 94%, settling ₦385.44bn of invoices issued by NBET and the MO.”
CUSTOMER METERING:
“Customer Metering: DisCos metered 350,270 additional customers during the quarter, bringing the national metering rate to 62%.”
ATC&C Loss Performance: The average actual loss across DisCos was recorded at 36% against an average allowed target of 16.92%.
