
CIVIL SERVICE REVAMP: TINUBU APPOINTS ADELADAN RAFIU OLARINRE, MUKHTAR YAWALE MUHAMMED AS PERMANENT SECRETARIES

In a move aimed at strengthening the federal civil service, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries. The appointments, announced on Wednesday, fill existing vacancies in the service.
The newly appointed officials are Mr. Adeladan Rafiu Olarinre who hails from Igboho, Oyo State and Mr. Mukhtar Yawale Muhammed, representing the North-West geopolitical zone. The appointments follow a rigorous and transparent selection process, aligning with the administration’s commitment to meritocracy, excellence, and competence.
According to Mrs. Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, the new Permanent Secretaries bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles. Their appointments are expected to enhance the delivery of public services and support the government’s development agenda.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and commended President Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to transparency, meritocracy, and professionalism in the civil service. These appointments, she emphasized, reflect the administration’s dedication to fostering a competent and results-oriented public service that meets the needs of Nigerians.
