GREATRIBUNETVNEWS–China has strongly criticized United States President Donald Trump’s threat to clear out the people of Gaza from their native land.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Guo Jiakun, emphasized that Gaza is not part of the United States and belongs to the Palestinian people, stressing that it is not a bargaining chip for political games .
Jiakun urged the international community, particularly major countries, to work together to improve the situation in Gaza by providing humanitarian assistance and supporting its reconstruction. He noted that the war has already caused significant devastation and suffering in the region .
China’s stance on the issue is clear, as Jiakun stated, “Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people. It is an inalienable part of the territory of Palestine, not a bargaining chip for political games” . This statement underscores China’s commitment to supporting the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
China, he said, “stands ready to work with the rest of the world for the realization of the two-state solution as the fundamental way forward and for an early, just political settlement of the Palestinian question, namely, the establishment of an independent state of Palestine that enjoys full sovereignty based on the 1967 border and with east Jerusalem as its capital.”
