TRUMP THREATENS BRICS NATIONS WITH 100% TARIFFS OVER DOLLAR REPLACEMENT

GREATRIBUNTVNEWS–President-elect Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to the BRICS nations, threatening to impose a 100% tariff on the geopolitical coalition if they abandon the US dollar in international trade.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that the US requires a commitment from BRICS countries not to create a new currency or back any other currency to replace the US dollar .
“The idea that the BRICS Countries are trying to move away from the Dollar while we stand by and watch is OVER, ” Trump wrote ” We require a commitment from these Countries that they will neither create a new BRICS Currency, currency, nor back any other Currency to replace the mighty U.S Dollar or, they will face 100 % Tariffs and should expect to say goodbye to selling into the wonderful U.S Economy ”
“They can go find another ‘sucker !’ .There is no chance that the BRICS will replace the U.S Dollar in International Trade, and any country that tries should wave goodbye to America. “The President-elect added.
Trump’s warning comes as the BRICS nations, comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, explore alternatives to the US dollar in international trade.
The coalition has been seeking to reduce its dependence on the US dollar and promote its own currencies in international transactions.
In response to Trump’s threat, some critics have argued that the move could backfire and harm the US economy.
Others have noted that the BRICS nations are not likely to be intimidated by Trump’s threats, given their growing economic influence and determination to promote their own interests .
