Governor Seyi Makinde has unveiled a comprehensive ₦678.06 billion budget proposal for Oyo State in 2025, prioritizing infrastructure development .
This budget, tagged “Budget of Economic Stabilization,” allocates:
– Capital Expenditure: ₦343 billion (50.59% of the total budget)
– Recurrent Expenditure: ₦335 billion (49.4% of the total budget)
Makinde emphasized the importance of prudent financial management and strategic allocation of resources. The proposed budget represents a 35% increase from the 2024 budget .
