2027: ENGR JUBRIL DOTUN SANUSI ACCEPTS TO JOIN GOVERNORSHIP RACE
Engr Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels and Resorts,has joined the race for governorship ticket of Oyo State in 2027.
Sanusi didn’t disclose the political party he hopes to actualize its governorship ambition with.
Besides,Sanusi’s ambition was boosted by over 100 support groups who thronged his hotel in Ilaji on Saturday to mobilize for him.
Accepting to contest the governorship race after overwhelming support by the group,who one after the other appealed to him to join the governorship race, Sanusi succumbed to the pressure saying that he has no choice than to obey the people’s desire to give him the mandate to pilot the affairs of the state from 2027.
He said he feels so humble to have been deemed fit for the topmost political position in the state in spite of his initial turndown of the offer.
He promised to turn around the economy of the state if he emerges the next governor of the state,as well as launch robust policies that will redefine Oyo as the pacesetter state.
Earlier, the support groups, including Ilaji Solidarity Forum, artisans, and professional affiliations, took their turns to express the reason for the choice of Sanusi as the next governor of the state.
They said the Ilaji Hotels boss possesses strong intellectual acumen, finesse, and vision to direct Oyo state on the path progress, which will make it a reference point in Nigeria.
They said Sanusi’s humanitarian gesture and welfarism towards the host communities of his business show that he has a large heart capable of serving Oyo state with sound vision
