The President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Barrister Sulaiman Ajewole has been conferred with the award of the Most Distinguished Ibadan Indigene by a UK/Ireland Think Tank Group based in the United Kingdom.
At the award ceremony which held in Dagenham, London and where Alhaja Basirat Arisekola was the special guest of honour, the group said that Barrister Ajewole was honoured because of his outstanding achievements in his first year in office as the helmsman of CCII.
The achievements, according to the group, include completion of a befitting palace for the Olubadan, commencement of a vocational training centre for Ibadan youths, and the success of the ongoing Ibadan Week celebration, among others.
