LCC SECURITY APPREHENDS NOTORIOUS LAGOS TRAFFIC ROBBER ON ETI-OSA LEKKI-EPE EXPRESSWAY
At about 10,00 hours on Thursday, 14th November, 2023 a notorious traffic robber who has been terrorizing motorists in Lagos State was apprehended by the Lekki Concession Company Limited’s (LCC) Security team.
Based on intelligence report received of a notorious robber who disguises as a beggar, begging for alms from unsuspecting road users in various parts of Lagos while relieving them of their cash and valuables. The LCC Security mobilized its team and luck ran out of him today as he was apprehended by the combined efforts of the Lekki Concession Company Limited’s (LCC) Security and LCC dedicated Man O War team.
The Chief Security Officer of LCC, Solomon Tolafari, received reports from a Rtd. Colonel of the Nigeria Army to the State Governor on the nefarious activities of a man posing as a beggar who then attacks and relieves unsuspecting motorists of their valuables in the State.
Tolofari said “ based on the recent report of a man that has been terrorizing road users along the Lekki corridor, I mobilized our Man O War team to go after him and he was apprehended around Ikate area today carrying out his nefarious activities robbing unsuspecting motorists while pretending to be begging for alms”
The alleged robber who goes by the name Ali, has been handed over to Officers at the Maroko Police Station for further investigation and possible persecution.
