ACCORD PARTY ORGANISES EPM TRAINING IN IBADAN
…Sues For Peaceful Poll Conduct
The Accord Party of both Oyo Central Senatorial District and Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal
Constituency yesterday, Wednesday, February 22, 2023 organised a training on Election,
Planning and Monitoring (EPM) for Party leaders and agents across the Party structures in
the Senatorial and Federal Constituency zones. The one-day rigorous training saw the
attendance of more than 500 participants from both Senatorial and Federal Constituency.
Addressing Party faithful, the candidate of the party for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal
Constituency, Capt. Akinjide Akinola Kazeem (Rtd) expressed his appreciation to all party
members present for keeping faith with him, other candidates as well as the party as a
whole. In his words, he said he, alongside other candidates of the party would be coming
with quality representative leadership built on altruism and governance deliverables.
“Dear party members, I want to appreciate everyone here today and those who are out
running the campaign at the grassroots on our behalf while we are in this hall to train the
party agents. The support in the last near one year has been massive, unprecedented and
encouraging. If there is any promise my fellow candidates and I are going to make, it is to
give you our words of total commitment to serving public interest at all levels. We will not
disappoint you.” Capt. Akinola (Rtd) affirmed.
The training which was facilitated by the ERG Resources, Ibadan was anchored by the duo of
Prof. Yemi Ademowo and Dr. Kehinde Amoo as Resource Persons. Participants were put
through the A-Z of what is expected of them before, during and after the elections. Party
Agents were further taken through the nitty-gritty of voting process, their expected roles
and duties, the relationship expected of them to share with the security agents as well as
staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the need to be monitor
their entire process from start to finish with their eyes wide open and mental alertness.
Participants at the end of the training were given opportunity to ask questions which were
provided with detailed answers. Also present at the event which held at the popular Osho
Event Centre, adjacent Taste Atlas fast food cafe, old Ife Road, Ibadan was the House of
Assembly candidate for Egbeda Local Government under Accord Party, Hon. Olamide
Ogundokun as well as representatives of the Senatorial Candidate for the Oyo Central
Senatorial District of Accord Party, Engr. Faozey Nurudeen Oladotun (FON
