OYO CHIEF IMAM SHEIKH MOSHOOD AJOKIDERO IS DEAD
Sheikh Moshood Ajokidero, Chief Imam, Oyo is dead.
GREATRIBUNETVNEWS learnt understands he had been sick for a while before he died last night.
He was one of the longest-reigning Grand Imams in the state.
A post on his official Facebook page reads: “As salaam alaykum. InnaLillah wainna Ilaihu raajiun. We Announce The Demise of the Grand Chief Imam Of Oyo. May Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaos. Amen ”
He is expected to be buried today according to Islamic rites.
