2023: IBA OF KISHI VISIT BAYO LAWAL, ASSURES ON BLOC VOTE TO PDP
The Iba of Kishi, Oba (Dr.) Masoud Oyekola Aweda Lawal JP, the Kabiyesi, the Iba-in-Council and the community has congratulated the former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Oyo State, Barrister Abdulroheem Adebayo Lawal on his elevation as the new Deputy Governor of Oyo State.
The monarch who visited the Deputy Governor on Wednesday at his office in Agodi Secretariat, described his appointment as a well deserved one, saying his selection has clearly shown that there is always a reward for loyalty and hard-work.
While admonishing the Kishi-born Deputy Governor to be magnanimous in victory, the top class monarch urged the former Oyo Housing Chairman to continue with his good deeds, stressing that his good intentions will continue to make ways for him.
He commended him for working round the clock to contribute his quota to the development of the State since 2020 when he assumed office as the Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation.
On the charge to ensure Irepo Local Government deliver bloc votes for PDP, the Monarch who noted that he was aware of what happened in 2019 where the Governor lost with 229 votes, said the town will ensure total victory for the Seyi Makinde/ Bayo Lawal joint ticket in 2023 governorship election.
In his remarks, the Deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal thanked His Royal Highness for his visit. He assured him that Makinde led administration will continue to support Oke-Ogun.
